The PIN Facebook group has over 3500 members and is growing weekly! Though we have a Facebook 'page' this is only as a fan page where updates and resources are posted. The Facebook GROUP however, is where all the action happens. This is where members are able to post pictures and information of their pet for adoption or for those seeking to adopt a pet. It is also a great place to share experiences, tips and information to help educate others about animal wellbeing. The PIN group on Facebook is strictly for members seeking help for their pets. All other posts relating to animals in general (such as pet care, grooming tips, health information and Veterinarian clinic suggestions, can visit our sister group PIN care group). Links are at the bottom of this page.

IMPORTANT: For all new members wishing to join our PIN Facebook group, please read the below guidelines and policies;
- PIN is not a shelter, kennel nor charity. It is a community of like minded people to help animals as much as we can in whichever ways possible. We do this strictly on a voluntary basis, through the love and compassion we have for animals and the help we wish to offer animal owners.
- No money donations should ever be given to any PIN members. We do not accept monetary donations! If you want to help out by contributing towards a pet's veterinary bill, you can do so directly with the vet in question. If you wish to donate items, you can do so by giving pet food, toys, blankets or medical supplies. Please email us at [email protected] for more information.There are many homeless pets urgently looking for additional supplies and food!
- PIN does NOT sell animals, meaning no members in the group can use the platform to sell, buy or breed pets nor advertise on someone else's behalf.
- PIN group will not tolerate personal attacks, insults or the like. We have people of different nationalities and comments can be lost in translations, so please be tolerant and supportive of each other. If anyone crosses the line, report the member to one of our admins.
- The group's success lies on its members, meaning YOU are part of the solution who can make the change. We don't have a specific team of people rescuing, fostering and adopting. This is done by many different people within the group, and we need more!
- Every now and then, PIN will have appointed admin's whose job is to guide members with tips and information whenever possible and to help monitor the group. Admins are appointed with the same vision and goals in mind and are usually those who can spare more time online helping. Admin rights should not be abused. If an admin doesn't adhere to PIN's mission and vision, a new admin will be appointed. If you feel you have what it takes to help with our PIN group on Facebook, please contact us.
- All PIN members should educate themselves on the importance of neutering and spaying their pet. We encourage all members to neuter/spay their pet before finding them a new home.
- Be a responsible pet owner. This means making sure you ask the right questions when giving your pet up for adoption. Do not just give your pet away to the first person who shows interest and please ensure neutering/spaying is arranged beforehand.
- We encourage members to utilize the group as an educational platform, so please pose questions about anything animal related that members could hep out with and which other people could benefit and learn from. Please be considerate towards other members. Topics such as Religion should NOT be discussed on PIN.
